TikTok Integration and Data Handling

Our Role as Service Provider

Viryze acts as a service provider and data processor when handling your TikTok account information. This means:

• You remain the data controller: You own and control your TikTok data at all times
• We process data on your behalf: We only use your TikTok information to provide campaign management services you've requested
• Limited purpose processing: Your data is used exclusively for campaign creation, optimization, and reporting - nothing else
• No selling or sharing: We never sell your TikTok data to third parties or use it for unrelated marketing purposes

TikTok Data Collection Through Login Kit

We use TikTok Login Kit for authentication and to access your TikTok account information with your explicit consent. When you authorize our application, we collect the following data directly from TikTok:

• Basic Profile Information: Your TikTok username, display name, profile picture, and unique account identifier
• Account Statistics: Your bio, verified status, follower count, video count, like count, and following count
• Video Content: Your public TikTok videos, including titles, descriptions, thumbnails, view counts, and engagement metrics
• Campaign Performance Data: Advertising metrics such as impressions, video views, follower conversions, audience demographics, and cost data from TikTok Ads Manager

How We Use Your TikTok Data

We strictly limit our use of your TikTok data to the following specific purposes:

• Account Management: Creating and managing your Viryze account, authenticating your identity
• Campaign Creation: Displaying your TikTok videos in our interface for campaign selection and configuration
• Performance Optimization: Analyzing campaign performance metrics to optimize audience targeting and budget allocation using AI
• Reporting and Analytics: Generating performance reports showing follower growth, engagement rates, and cost metrics
• Customer Support: Providing technical support and troubleshooting campaign issues when you contact us

We explicitly do NOT: Use your TikTok data to train AI models for other purposes, conduct market research unrelated to your campaigns, share your data with advertisers or data brokers, or use your content for our own marketing without explicit permission.

Who Has Access to Your TikTok Data

Your TikTok information is only accessible to:

• You: Full access to all your data through your Viryze dashboard and account settings
• Viryze Staff: Limited access for authorized support team members only when providing customer service or technical troubleshooting (with appropriate access controls and audit logging)
• TikTok: Campaign configuration data is shared with TikTok through their official APIs to execute advertising campaigns on your behalf
• Infrastructure Providers: Encrypted data stored with secure cloud hosting providers (AWS, Supabase) under strict data processing agreements

No other third parties, advertisers, partners, or external services have access to your TikTok account information.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your TikTok data according to the following schedule:

• Active Campaigns: Data is retained for the duration of your active campaigns plus 90 days for reporting and compliance purposes
• Completed Campaigns: Performance data retained for 90 days after campaign completion, then automatically deleted
• Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all TikTok data is permanently deleted within 30 days (except as required by law for financial records)
• Immediate Deletion: You can request immediate deletion of specific TikTok data by contacting privacy@viryze.com

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your TikTok data:

• Withdraw Access: Revoke Viryze's access to your TikTok account at any time through TikTok's app settings or your Viryze account settings
• View Your Data: Export all TikTok data we've collected in a portable format through your account settings
• Correct Inaccuracies: Update your TikTok profile information, which will automatically sync to Viryze
• Delete Specific Data: Request deletion of specific campaigns or data points while keeping your account active
• Limit Processing: Pause campaigns to temporarily suspend data collection while maintaining your account

Security Measures for TikTok Data

We implement comprehensive security measures to protect your TikTok information:

• Encryption: All TikTok data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
• Access Controls: Role-based access controls with multi-factor authentication for staff

Important Security Notes: We never store your TikTok password. We never request private account credentials. All authentication happens through TikTok's official OAuth system.
